Jaishankar pays tribute to Polish refugees in Warsaw
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar visited the Kolhapur Memorial in Warsaw to honor the memory of the 5,000 Polish women and children who found sanctuary in India during the Second World War. He also stopped at the memorial dedicated to the 'Good Maharaja' of Jamnagar, who provided shelter to 1,000 Polish children. Jaishankar is currently in Poland for an official trip scheduled from September 3 to 5.
