Jairam Ramesh claims NCPI is a 'parking spot' for 20 TMC rebels
Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has hit out at the BJP-led government following the Opposition's decision to walk out of an all-party meeting held ahead of the Monsoon Session of Parliament. Ramesh stated that the NCPI is acting as a temporary shelter for 20 dissident TMC lawmakers. He explained that the walkout was staged to oppose the Centre's decision to invite the NCPI to the meeting. Currently, the merger of these 20 TMC MPs into the NCPI has not been officially acknowledged by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.
