Ishroop Narang misses out on Commonwealth Games judo bronze

In the women's 78kg judo bronze medal bout at the 2026 Commonwealth Games, Ishroop Narang was defeated 0-1 by Canada's Coralie Godbout. The match went into a Golden Score period, during which Godbout earned a Yuko to claim the medal. Prior to this, Indian competitors Avtar Singh and Yash Ghanghas had already exited the tournament following their losses in the men's Round of 16.
