Irish octogenarian restores 10 ancient Jodhpur stepwells
Over the past ten years, 80-year-old Irishman Caron Rawnsley has successfully cleaned and renovated nearly 10 heritage stepwells located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Rawnsley initially spent years personally clearing out trash and waste from sites like Gulab Sagar and Rambauri, eventually gaining support from conservationists and local volunteers. After arriving in Jodhpur as a visitor, Rawnsley has become a local figure affectionately referred to as "Paagal Saab."
