Iran slams UK for branding IRGC a terrorist group, labels it 'unjustified'
On Tuesday, Iran hit out at the United Kingdom's choice to classify the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist entity, describing the action as both "irresponsible and unjustified." Tehran maintained that the IRGC functions as a legitimate branch of its national military and charged Britain with breaching international law by attacking a state body. In addition to the IRGC, the UK also added another group associated with Iran to its list of terrorist organisations.
