Iran executes two ISIS militants for armed uprising
According to Iranian state media, two Islamic State (ISIS) members have been executed by hanging after being found guilty of armed rebellion against the state. The individuals, named Mohieddin Abdollahi and Hossein Palani, reportedly attempted to cross the western border from Iraq before being intercepted by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Following the discovery of their hideout by the IRGC, several other members of the ISIS unit were killed.
