Instagram is rolling out a new "AI-generated profile" tag for accounts that use artificial intelligence personas, which will take the place of the previous "AI creator" label. This update aims to make it easier for users to tell the difference between human influencers and AI-driven ones. Profiles that do not properly label their AI characters could face reduced reach on the platform. If creators believe they were unfairly penalized, they have the option to submit an appeal via the Account Status dashboard on Instagram.
