German semiconductor leader Infineon Technologies has purchased C2i Semiconductors, a firm based in Bengaluru that focuses on smart power stages and software-defined multiphase controllers for AI data centers. The deal is slated to be finalized by the third quarter of 2026. C2i CEO Ram Anant stated that becoming part of Infineon provides them with entry to top-tier semiconductor technology.
