Indigenously built UGRAM rifle passes trials, ready for induction
The UGRAM 7.62x51 mm battle rifle, manufactured by the Indian company Dvipa Defence, has successfully cleared essential evaluations conducted by the Army and the Ministry of Home Affairs. Various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) are currently in the process of acquiring the weapon. Created in partnership with the DRDO's Armament Research and Development Establishment, the functional prototype for the UGRAM was completed in a span of only 100 days.
