India's US export share steady despite Trump's tariffs: Report
A Bloomberg report using government data indicates that India's export share to the United States has held steady at 20%, even after a year of tariffs under President Donald Trump. Ajay Sahai, who leads the Federation of Indian Export Organisations, noted that it will likely be another two to three years before India's attempts to diversify its markets yield significant impact. Last year, the Trump administration applied a 50% tariff on the majority of goods imported from India.
