India's UPI to debut in Uzbekistan for easier digital payments
Uzbekistan is preparing to integrate India's Unified Payments Interface (UPI) to facilitate seamless digital transactions across both nations. This development comes after a business agreement was signed between the National Interbank Processing Centre of Uzbekistan and NPCI International Payments. Once implemented, visitors will be able to utilize their preferred UPI-based mobile applications, lessening the need to depend on traditional international credit or debit cards.
