Indian swimmer Srihari Nataraj places 12th in CWG 100m backstroke semi-finals

Indian swimmer Srihari Nataraj missed out on a place in the men's 100m backstroke final at the 2026 Commonwealth Games after ending up 12th overall in the semi-finals. He recorded a time of 55.52 seconds to finish 12th out of the 16 competitors in the semis, failing to progress to the eight-swimmer final. The final qualifying position was claimed by Australia's Isaac Cooper, who registered a time of 54.58 seconds.
