Indian researchers identify unique 'bow and arrow' radio galaxy

A group of twelve Indian researchers and citizen scientists located in three different nations have identified a unique, supersonic radio galaxy that resembles a bow and arrow. Situated roughly 2 billion light-years away, the galaxy features an asymmetric and highly atypical structure that differs from typical radio galaxies. The discovery was made through data captured by the Low-Frequency Array (LOFAR) radio telescope.
