Indian-origin entrepreneur allegedly impersonated CIA operative to defraud Indonesian leader
Gaurav Srivastava, a businessman of Indian descent, is facing allegations of pretending to be a CIA officer to swindle Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto out of massive defence contracts worth billions. Evidence provided by his former associate includes audio recordings of Srivastava claiming to be employed by the intelligence agency. It is alleged that he leveraged this false CIA identity to reach high-ranking Indonesian officials and establish a connection with Subianto, who was serving as the Defence Minister at the time.
