Indian-origin boy, 7, passes UK GCSE math exam for 16-year-olds
Jivyan Reddy Dhruva, a seven-year-old of Indian descent, has successfully passed a mathematics test designed for students aged 16 in the United Kingdom. He earned a score of 196 out of 240, securing a Class 8 grade, which is comparable to an A, in the General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) examination. Reflecting on his result, Jivyan noted he was initially a bit let down because he had hoped for a Class 9, adding that his next goal is to study A-level Mathematics.
