Indian Navy receives INS Mangrol, its third anti-submarine vessel from Cochin Shipyard
The Indian Navy has taken delivery of INS Mangrol, the third Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft built by Cochin Shipyard. This ship is specifically engineered for coastal missions, including anti-submarine combat, underwater monitoring, search and rescue tasks, and laying mines. Constructed with more than 80% locally sourced components, the Mangrol is equipped with sophisticated sonar and radar systems, alongside torpedoes and domestically produced anti-submarine rockets.
