Indian national dies in Iranian missile strike on UAE tankers

The UAE Ministry of Defence reported on Tuesday that Iranian cruise missiles hit two of its national tankers within the Strait of Hormuz. The strike resulted in the death of one Indian crew member and left eight others wounded. According to the UAE, the injured include six Indians and two Ukrainians, and the ministry has called for the Strait of Hormuz to be reopened.
