Indian IT worker dies as vehicle is washed away by US floods
Venkatesh Doppalapudi, a 33-year-old Indian student and IT professional, lost his life after his vehicle was carried away by flash floods in Kansas, USA. Doppalapudi, who held an H-1B visa and resided in Omaha, Nebraska, was traveling back from Houston when the incident occurred. Emergency responders faced challenges during the rescue operation because of the intense water currents. Doppalapudi was originally from Andhra Pradesh.
