Indian Embassy confirms 22 crew members safe following ship hijackings near Yemen and Somalia

The Indian High Commission in Nairobi is actively tracking the status of 22 Indian sailors aboard two merchant ships that were seized in separate attacks near the coasts of Somalia and Yemen. According to the commission, there are 16 Indian crew members on the MT Sibu and 6 on the MV Lutuf. The embassy has confirmed that all of the Indian seafarers are currently safe.
