Indian community adds $37 billion annually to New Zealand's economy, says PM Luxon
New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon stated that the Indian community has significantly boosted the nation's economic, social, and cultural landscape. He remarked, "Without you, we simply wouldn’t be the New Zealand we are today." Luxon further noted that the Kiwi Indian population, numbering nearly 3,30,000, is highly hardworking, well-educated, and generates an annual contribution of approximately $37 billion to the country's economy.
