India to host Brazil for major football friendly in Kolkata this October
The All India Football Federation (AIFF) confirmed on Thursday that the Brazilian senior men’s football team is set to play an international friendly against India in Kolkata on October 3, 2026. The game is scheduled to take place at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan. As the fifth-ranked team globally, Brazil represents the toughest opponent India has encountered since the FIFA rankings were first established in 1992.
