India to assist in preserving ancient Indonesian Shiva temple site
Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on Tuesday that India will provide support for the conservation of a Shiva temple complex in Indonesia that dates back over 1,000 years. Describing the site as a representation of the common cultural legacy shared by India and Indonesia, PM Modi noted that he is set to launch the restoration project on Wednesday, July 8. The historic site features 240 individual temples honoring Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Brahma.
