India sure of winning UN Security Council spot: MEA
External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that India remains optimistic about obtaining a non-permanent position on the UN Security Council. He noted that on July 13, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar kicked off the campaign in New York, calling on member nations to back India's bid. Jaiswal remarked, "We're confident that our candidature will be given due consideration by all member countries."
