India plans to finalize trade deals with Canada, Mexico, and Brazil by early next year
Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal announced that India is working to wrap up free trade agreement discussions with Canada, Mexico, and Brazil over the coming six months. A team from India is scheduled to travel to Canada on July 6 to continue the negotiation process. Additionally, Goyal noted that the free trade pact between India and New Zealand is projected to take effect in 2026.
