India eyes national traffic management system for drones

According to a News18 report, India is inviting suggestions to build a national unmanned aircraft systems traffic management (UTM) framework. This system aims to oversee drone operations at altitudes of up to 1,000 feet. The initiative is designed to keep drones within their designated flight zones, provide real-time tracking, and prevent unauthorized take-offs. Additionally, the system is expected to include safety features such as collision warnings to help avoid accidents.
