India-Brazil trade surges tenfold to $15 billion over two decades

Brazil's Consul General, Jose Mauro Couto, announced that trade between India and Brazil has increased by ten times, rising from USD 1.5 billion in 2004 to more than USD 15 billion currently. During his address at the Global Impact Forum in Mumbai, he described this growth as a precursor to the upcoming BRICS Summit, which is set to take place in New Delhi on September 12-13.
