India-backed Chabahar port in Iran remains unaffected by US strikes, says MEA
The Ministry of External Affairs on Friday dismissed reports suggesting that the Indian-supported Chabahar port in Iran had been damaged by US strikes. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated, "We can confirm that the terminal itself did not suffer any damage." He further noted that India is currently in talks with the concerned parties following the expiration of the US sanctions waiver for the port this past April.
