IIT-Madras startup Bodhan AI unveils four AI models for 27 Indian languages
Bodhan AI, a startup incubated at IIT Madras, has introduced four foundational AI models tailored for Indian languages. This initiative aims to establish a sovereign technology framework to support the country's multilingual education system. These models are being offered as digital public goods and include capabilities for optical character recognition (OCR), automatic speech recognition (ASR), text-to-speech, and machine translation. Notably, the ASR model is capable of processing 27 different languages.
