IIT Madras-backed BodhanAI introduces AI tool for 26 Indian languages
BodhanAI, a project under IIT Madras, has rolled out Indic-Transcribe, a new speech-to-text model that covers English along with 26 Indian languages. Built using 1.2 billion parameters, the tool is capable of processing various regional accents, scripts, and code-switched speech, such as railway station updates and Sanskrit shlokas. The model will be accessible via the BodhanAI portal starting September 5.
