ICC set for first startup investment in MS Dhoni-backed LightFury Games

According to a Moneycontrol report, the International Cricket Council (ICC) is nearing a deal to invest in the Bengaluru-based startup LightFury Games, which would be its maiden venture into startup funding. Alongside this investment, LightFury Games has secured the official gaming rights from the ICC for various platforms. The startup, currently working on the E-Cricket title, counts cricketers MS Dhoni, Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Shreyas Iyer, and Ravindra Jadeja among its prominent backers.
