'I tried to hold my wife's hand, but she was washed away,' says 68-year-old Nepal flood survivor

A 68-year-old survivor of the flash floods in Nepal, Keshav Prasad Baral, recalled, "It was a huge gush of mud coming...towards us." He explained, "When I saw it enter our home, I tried to grab my wife's hand and take her to the terrace. But she was swept away by the mud." Baral further stated, "My wife is still somewhere beneath the mud."
