I am being defamed nationwide over ₹6.5 crore payout plan, Chandra tells NCLAT
During an NCLAT hearing on Wednesday, the legal representative for Subhash Chandra stated that the Zee Group founder has faced nationwide defamation regarding a proposed ₹6.5 crore settlement against accepted creditor claims of ₹22,006 crore. The tribunal was reviewing an appeal by lenders contesting the NCLT's clearance of the resolution plan. Chandra also challenged the NCLT's move to establish a five-member bench to re-examine the repayment plan.
