House destroyed in Trikaripur gas explosion; family survives
A cooking gas cylinder blew up inside a home in Trikaripur, located in Kerala's Kasaragod district, while four family members were preparing a meal. A gas leak initially caused a fire, which then led to the cylinder detonating and destroying the inside of the residence. Fortunately, the family managed to get out just before the explosion occurred. Personnel from the Trikaripur Fire and Rescue Services arrived shortly after to extinguish the flames.
