Himachal college built for ₹12 crore sees low turnout with only 24 students
A state-run degree college located in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, which was constructed with an investment of approximately ₹12 crore, is currently serving just 24 students while employing six faculty members. At the Chander Dhar Guleri Government Degree College in Haripur, the enrollment breakdown includes 19 students in Arts, two in Commerce, and three in the Non-Medical stream. The facility, which spans an area of nearly 90 kanals, is also dealing with connectivity issues that have further hindered its ability to draw in students.
