Heavy rains shut 87 roads in Himachal; yellow alert for 10 districts
Heavy rainfall has led to the closure of 87 roads throughout Himachal Pradesh. Mandi has been hit the hardest, seeing 33 roads shut down, while Kullu follows with 16 closures. In Shimla and Lahaul and Spiti, two roads are blocked in each area. Meanwhile, the state Meteorological Centre has put 10 districts under a yellow alert, including Shimla, Kangra, Solan, Kullu, Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Mandi, Chamba, and Sirmaur.
