Heavy rain causes major waterlogging and traffic jams across Delhi-NCR
Delhi and the surrounding NCR region faced significant waterlogging and gridlocked traffic on Friday following intense rainfall. Areas including Chhatarpur, Mehrauli-Badarpur Road, ITO, Wazirabad Road, Patel Road, Rohtak Road, Shankar Road, the Kirti Nagar stretch, the Delhi-Jaipur Highway, and Shaheen Bagh were among those reporting flooded streets. Additionally, the heavy downpour caused traffic to move at a crawl along the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.
