Haryana private hospitals stop Ayushman Bharat services for a day due to unpaid bills
Private medical facilities throughout Haryana paused operations under the Ayushman Bharat program for 24 hours on Tuesday, citing significant delays in payments from the state government. Data from the Indian Medical Association indicates that 650 hospitals are waiting on approximately ₹1,200 crore in outstanding dues. The hospitals have cautioned that if these payments are not settled, they will stop providing Ayushman services indefinitely starting September 16.
