Guwahati eateries to stay open until 3:30 am for FIFA World Cup final stages
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has given the green light to the Guwahati district administration to let restaurants operate until 3:30 am during the FIFA World Cup 2026 semi-finals, the third-place play-off, and the final. These extended hours will apply on July 15, 16, 19, and 20. He further mentioned that other district administrations throughout Assam have also been granted the authority to allow similar timing extensions.
