Guruvayur Temple hosts 416 weddings in 7 hours, breaking previous record
The Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple in Kerala achieved a new milestone by conducting 416 marriages in a little over seven hours on the first Sunday of the Malayalam month of Chingam. This surpasses the former record of 334 weddings set in September 2024. Although 442 ceremonies were originally scheduled for the day, the temple utilized six mandapams at once to manage the flow, with more than 100 police officers on-site to oversee the crowds.
