Gurugram: 8-year-old boy dies after being run over by heavy cricket pitch roller
A tragic incident occurred at a cricket academy in IMT Manesar, Gurugram, where an eight-year-old boy lost his life after being crushed by a 750-kg pitch roller. The victim, identified as Akash, was playing alongside three other kids when the heavy machine, which had been left unattended, was accidentally turned on by one of the children. Akash was caught under the moving roller and suffered fatal injuries. Although he was rushed to a nearby private hospital, doctors pronounced him dead upon his arrival.
