Gandhinagar has officially secured a Guinness World Record after successfully planting 3.61 lakh saplings within a single hour in Bhadaj, Gujarat. This feat surpasses the earlier record set by Assam in 2023, where 3,31,929 trees were planted in the same timeframe. Union Minister Amit Shah praised the efforts of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, stating, "A monumental milestone towards realising PM Modi Ji's vision of 'Progress with Nature.'"
