Gujarat restaurant sealed following girl's death from food poisoning; rotten food discovered
Surat's Sheetal Restaurant has been closed by the Gujarat Health Department following a case of suspected food poisoning that resulted in the death of a young girl and left three additional people hospitalized. During an inspection, officials discovered spoiled daal, poor-quality vegetables, and exposed paneer, all of which were subsequently destroyed. Food Safety Officer Sejal Vyas stated that the restaurant owner will face necessary legal action.
