Gujarat burglars dial police for protection after locals trap them inside shop

In Gujarat's Valsad district, two burglars reached out to the police for help after residents lowered the shop's shutter while they were inside attempting a robbery. Authorities reported that a group had assembled outside, causing the thieves to worry about being beaten by the crowd. Officers recovered the stolen jewellery along with the burglary equipment the pair had carried to the scene.
