A two-seater Phantom F4 aircraft belonging to the Greek Air Force went down on Saturday while performing at the Athens Flying Week event. The crash took place at the Tanagra air base, located north of Athens, in front of a large crowd of onlookers. There were no immediate reports of any injuries. It is not yet known if the pilots managed to eject from the plane. A helicopter was deployed to extinguish the fire caused by the crash.
