Greater Noida West to host Uttar Pradesh's inaugural double-decker expressway
Uttar Pradesh is set to get its first double-decker road, spanning 2.5 kilometres in Greater Noida West. This project, valued at ₹900 crore, is designed to link the 130-Metre Road, Crossing Republic, and NH-9. It is a collaborative effort involving the Greater Noida Authority, Noida Authority, GDA, and NHAI. The structure will consist of two decks, each between 9 and 10 metres wide, with three lanes for one-way traffic on each level. Local commuters will continue to have access to the current road throughout the construction.
