A Greater Noida resident was left with major burn injuries when his smartphone unexpectedly overheated and burst into flames inside his pocket, according to an FPJ report. The victim stated that the device started getting hot and releasing smoke while he was carrying it. The phone then detonated with a loud noise before he had a chance to take it out. He had purchased the mobile phone just one month ago.
