Goyal: Global carmakers must provide India the same quality as international markets
Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal has cautioned international automobile manufacturers against providing vehicles in India that are of a lower standard than what they sell abroad. Expressing his disapproval of this approach, he stated, “That trend is not going to be accepted.” Goyal further pointed out cases where cars specifically built for the Indian market were not sent for export, as their design quality was deemed below the level of versions available in other parts of the world.
