Govt issued a social media blocking request every minute from March to July: Report

A report by The Indian Express reveals that the government issued blocking directives to platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram every 68 seconds. This amounts to 1,275 requests daily, totaling nearly 1.95 lakh orders between March and July. Instagram received the highest volume of these instructions with almost 1 lakh orders, followed by Facebook with 80,000 and YouTube with 15,000.
