Government restricts over-the-counter sale of medicines with over 12% alcohol

The central government has moved oral drugs that contain more than 12% ethyl alcohol and come in containers bigger than 30 ml into the Schedule H1 category. These medications can no longer be purchased without a prescription and will now require a doctor's note. Additionally, the government has mandated that pharmacies keep records of these sales for a period of three years.
