Government rejects fuel adulteration claims, says only 2 cases detected

On Tuesday, the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas rejected reports regarding fuel adulteration, emphasizing that fuel quality is checked regularly. According to the ministry, only two instances of chloride contamination were detected out of 2,000 samples tested, leading to the immediate suspension of those pumps. Additionally, the ministry stated that water ingress testing is conducted about 12 times every day across more than 87,000 retail outlets.
